The IMET H 1200 is a big size semiautomatic double column bandsaw designed for straight cuts and batch production of carpentry works, pipes, and medium size solids up to 15.75 in (400 mm). For automated workflows, the H 1200 NC F evolution transforms the platform into an automatic tool available with a single-stroke feeder of 59.05 in (1500 mm) or 118.11 in (3000 mm). These machines feature a rigid electrowelded sawframe with a 5° canted blade to ensure high performance even on the widest sections.

THE MAXI-H ARCHITECTURE

The H 1200 is built on a massive, reinforced electrowelded frame designed to handle multi-ton workpieces with zero vibration.

  • Ultra-Rigid Twin-Column System: The saw frame is guided by two oversized, induction-hardened, and ground columns. This configuration ensures perfectly balanced cutting pressure across the entire 1.2 meter  width, maintaining strict perpendicularity even on the heaviest H-beams.
  • High-Torque Drive Train: Optimized for large-scale solids and heavy-wall profiles, the H 1200 drive system delivers high torque at lower speeds, ensuring a constant feed rate and preventing blade stalling in the most demanding materials.

The H 1200 series provides massive material support and high-precision automation for industrial-scale batch production.

  • Integrated NC Feeder: Features an automatic material repetition system with a stroke of 1500 mm or 3000 mm.The feeder slides over recirculating ballscrews driven by an electric motor and toothed belt transmission, including an integrated roller table to support material as it approaches the blade.
  • High Positioning Precision: The feeder movement is managed on linear ball guides and controlled by an innovative geared motor driven by an inverter with a linear encoder and mechanical clamping.
  • Semiautomatic Operational Flexibility: The machine utilizes a 10" touch screen interface to manage all parameters, ensuring professional cutting quality for both one-off cuts and automated programs.

  • 10” CNC Touch Screen Display: An easy, intuitive interface that allows users to manage all operative functions and set up to 99 cutting programs with 30 cutting lines each. The CNC system provides automatic calculation of blade thickness, machine status, blade speed overview, and self-diagnosis for working anomalies.
  • Rigid Sawframe Structure: Features a big size, electrowelded bow with large thickness sections to reduce vibration, binding, or slowing during the cutting process. The perfectly balanced descent ensures constant feeding rates across wide ranges of materials.
  • 5° Canted Blade Geometry: Optimizes the cutting cycle by reducing the band strain and improving penetration, which helps extend sawblade life and durability even on the biggest sections.
  • Smart-Start Material Detection: Equipped with an automatic detection system that identifies the first cut point via a magnetic strip with an encoder. The machine starts a fast automatic lowering of the sawframe to the operator-set material size, saving cycle time.
  • Double Side Opening Vise Jaws: The feeder vise is equipped with jaws that open on both sides to avoid friction while loading and to ease the loading of non-rectilinear bars.
  • Advanced Descent Control: Two hydraulic regulators on the panel control manage the sawframe down-feed speed and blade penetration power. The descent rate is viewed directly on the display in mm/min.
