Training That Turns A Machine Into Output

The gap between a machine’s rated capability and what it actually produces is almost always a training gap. We train your operators on the machine they will run, using the material they will cut, so what they learn transfers directly to the shop floor. Training is included with every installation and available at any point afterwards as your team changes.

Training Delivered With Every Installation

  • Machine Overview: Machine construction, capabilities, working limits and safety systems.
  • Operation Training: Day-to-day operation on your own material, from setup through to finished parts.
  • Maintenance Training: Daily, weekly and periodic maintenance routines your team can carry out themselves to protect uptime.

Additional Training For CNC Machines

CNC machining and fabrication centers carry a deeper training program, delivered alongside the standard operator training.

  • Software Training: Full training on the machine’s control software, including our suppliers’ proprietary programming environments.
  • Programming Training: Practical part programming, an overview of G code, and the machining principles behind it.
  • Tooling Principles: How tools cut, why they wear, and how tooling choice affects finish, cycle time and cost.
  • Tool Selection: Choosing the right tool for the material, the operation and the result you need.

Ongoing Training For New Staff

Teams change. Training is available at any time after installation, and does not need to wait for a service visit.

  • On Site: A technician attends your facility and trains your new staff on your machine.
  • Remote: Delivered remotely for software, programming and operational topics that do not require hands on the machine.
  • At Our Facility: Classroom and hands-on training at our Mississauga headquarters, away from production pressure.
  • Class Size: Sessions for groups of up to eight people.
  • English & French: Training is delivered in English or French.
