The IMET H 650 is a heavy-duty Double Column Semiautomatic Bandsaw specifically engineered for high-precision 90° straight cuts of structural steel, including beams, tubes, profiles, and large-diameter solids. General

THE RIGID VERTICAL DESCENT

The H 650 is defined by its vertical saw frame movement, which is guided by two massive, induction-hardened columns.

  • Balanced Vertical Feed: By utilizing a double-column design rather than a pivot, the machine ensures a perfectly parallel feed rate across the entire width of the material, which is critical for maintaining perpendicularity on large H-beams and wide plates.
  • Vibration Dampening: The rigid, electrowelded structure and balanced descent significantly reduce vibration during the cutting process, leading to superior surface finishes and significantly extended tool life.
  • Wide Working Area: To provide full support for large sections and big diameters, the machine includes a broad working surface. It is equipped with two free rollers before the blade to facilitate material loading and a perforated plate after the cutting line for exit support.

  • 6° Inclined Sawblade: The blade is canted at a 6° angle, ensuring it is never parallel to the working plate. This geometry optimizes the cutting cycle by allowing the blade to work only on a material section at any given time, increasing performance and extending blade life.
  • Full-Stroke Hydraulic Vise: The horizontal vise features a hydraulic cylinder with a 25.59 in (650 mm) single full stroke for accurate material blocking. It is equipped as standard with a pressure regulator on the hydraulic power unit.
  • Mechanical Material Detection: A detection device descends with the bow to facilitate a rapid approach to the material. Upon touching the workpiece, it automatically switches the machine to the operator-set feed rate to optimize cutting time.
  • Mobile Panel Console: Features control LEDs for blade tensioning, guard status, motor thermal block, and electrical tension. Operators can choose between three end-cutting modes, including options for the bow to remain down or return with the blade off.
  • High Blade Tension: The blade is maintained at a tension of 27,025 PSI (1900 kg/cm2). A safety microswitch provides an immediate stop if the blade loses tension or breaks.
  • Motorized Cleaning Brush: Standard motorized nylon brush removes chips from the blade, while a dedicated tray at the back of the machine collects remains transported by the coolant.
