The IMET GBS 185 is a durable, highly portable Compact Miter Bandsaw for Workshops and small series production. This pivot-style machine is designed for cutting tubes, profiles, and solids up to 7.28 in (185 mm) round. It features a cast-iron saw frame and a quick-action mechanical vise for rapid material clamping. The premium GBS 185 GH model adds the Autocut GH system, which provides a hydraulically controlled downfeed rate for smooth, unattended cuts.

- GH (Autocut): Adds a Gravity Hydraulic system with a 3-way selector (Manual, Rapid Approach, or Autocut).In Autocut mode, the blade descent rate is hydraulically regulated for autonomous, unattended cutting.

- Autocut GH System (GBS 185 GH only): Provides a controlled descent system with a 3-position selector for manual cut, quick material approach, or automatic cut with hydraulic feed rate adjustment.
- Capacity: Max round capacity of 7.28 in (185 mm) and rectangular capacity up to 7.87 in ×6.10 in (200×155 mm) at 90°.
- Miter Cutting: Capable of single-miter cuts from 0° up to 60° left, with preset mechanical stops for efficiency.
- Ergonomic Design: Features a low-profile base and a work surface height of 35.43 in (900 mm).
- Quick Clamping: Equipped with a manual vise that has quick-clamping action and adjustable guides for rapid material changes.
- Robust Frame: Cast-iron saw frame is inclined at 42° to reduce blade torsion and stress during the cutting cycle.
- Work Surface: Wide working area rotates integrally with the bow to prevent scoring and damage to the plate surface during angle adjustments.
- Motor: 1.07 HP (0.8 kW) blade motor offers two fixed speeds: 98 ft/min (30 m/min) and 197 ft/min (60 m/min).
