The IMET GBS 242 GH is the most versatile Versatile Double Miter Bandsaw in the IMET gravity feed line. It is engineered for maintenance and small-to-medium batch production in light steelwork, offering bi-directional angle cutting up to 45° right and 60° left. This heavy-duty pivot saw features the Autocut GH system with a two-speed motor and hydraulic downfeed control for superior performance and flexibility on the shop floor.

VERSIONS AVAILABLE
- GH (Autocut): Adds a Gravity Hydraulic system with a 3-way selector (Manual, Rapid Approach, or Autocut).In Autocut mode, the blade descent rate is hydraulically regulated for autonomous, unattended cutting.

- Two-Speed Motor: Features a 1.5 HP /1.7 HP (1.1 kW /1.3 kW) blade motor, offering high and low-speed options (115 ft/min /230 ft/min) to optimize cutting performance across various materials (solids vs. profiles).
- Vise Clamping: Utilizes a manual quick-clamping vise with a 11.42 in (290 mm) vise opening for quick setup and secure material hold.
- Precision Blade Guides: Equipped with carbide pads and additional bearings for optimal blade alignment and wear compensation.
- Working Table: The wide working table rotates integrally with the saw frame, preventing incision damage to the plate surface during bi-directional miter adjustments.
