The IMET KTECH 1202 is a maximum-capacity automatic mitering double column bandsaw for structural steeldesigned for the most demanding industry applications and large format batch production. Capable of processing rectangular sections up to 49.21 in x 23.62 in (1250 x 600 mm), it features a 3-axis CNC system for motorized rotation from 60° left to 60° right and an integrated automatic feeder. It combines massive structural rigidity with an easy-to-use 10″ touch screen HMI for professional, unattended operation.

TECHNOLOGY MODULE: LARGE-SCALE MITERING PRECISION

The KTECH 1202 is built for stability and precision on the largest structural workpieces.

  • Massive Electrowelded Sawframe: The bow structure features a large thickness to eliminate vibrations and noise. It is perfectly balanced by large-diameter hydraulic cylinders and slides on precision linear guides.
  • CNC Sawframe Rotation: Automatic rotation is managed via motor-reducer and inverter, while a hydraulic cylinder provides final locking for perfect positioning accuracy.
  • Integrated High-Load Feeder: The 3000 mm feeder (with 6000 mm options) uses an asynchronous motor with an inverter and an integrated roller table to support multi-ton material loads.

  • 5° Canted Blade Geometry: Optimizes penetration into large sections and structural beams, reducing strain on the 54 mm wide blade and preventing cutting slowdowns.
  • Precision Blade Alignment: Hard metal blade guides with lateral guide rolls (cemented, hardened, and rectified) ensure the highest precision. The mobile guide is automatically kept close to the cutting area.

  • Energy-Efficient Hydraulic System: Uses a low-noise pump and locking valves, allowing the machine to perform most processes while the hydraulic unit is switched off to reduce oil temperature and energy consumption.
