The Yilmaz DC 550 is a fully automatic double miter saw engineered for precision and productivity. The machine is built on a solid steel base and features a stationary left cutting unit, while the mobile right head is positioned by a servo control system for fast and accurate length setting. The saw is available in 4, 5, and 6-meter versions to accommodate a wide range of profile lengths.
The machine's capabilities stem from its servo-controlled cutting heads, which are equipped with 550 mm saw blades. The heads can automatically and precisely tilt to any angle inward to 45° and outward to 22.5°. A hydro-pneumatic blade feed ensures a smooth, controlled cutting stroke for an excellent finish quality. The entire system is managed by a Windows-based industrial PC with a 15" touch screen, which allows for cut list transfer via USB or network and provides the capability for remote technical support. The DC 550 SKH model further enhances automation with a standard profile height measurement system.
