The RASAMAT-Automat is a high-speed, fully automated batch processing center designed for the simultaneous deburring of both workpiece ends. While suitable for steel and stainless steel, it is the primary industrial specialist for aluminum extrusions and complex profiles. Unlike traditional circular brushes that are unsuitable for aluminum due to surface damage and inability to reach internal fins, the RASAMAT-Automat utilizes a patented planetary tool system. This makes it an ideal solution for steel service centres and manufacturers requiring high-volume, reproducible results for delicate or complex geometries.

General

AUTOMATED PLANETARY DEBURRING

  • Simultaneous Dual-End Processing: Deburrs both ends of the workpiece at once, achieving a throughput of up to 1,800 pieces per hour.
  • Patented Segmented Tooling: Utilizes individual brush segments that reach all contours and internal grooves, which is critical for aluminum profiles where circular brushes fail to provide complete coverage.
  • Surface-Friendly Transport: Features a conveyor system specifically designed to transport workpieces without damaging coatings, anodizing, or sensitive housing surfaces.
  • Hydraulic-Free Servo Control: The conveyor belt and transport speeds are individually driven by servo motors to ensure precise process reliability and minimal mechanical wear.

Features

  • Extreme Process Speed: Completes the deburring cycle in less than 3 seconds per workpiece, significantly reducing labor costs for mass production.
  • Rapid Setup and Conversion: Engineered for high efficiency with dimensional changeovers and complete conversion accomplished in only 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Automated Dimensional Calibration: Features automatic adjustment to the required workpiece length and diameter, ensuring uniform results across the entire series.
  • Integrated Height Monitoring: Includes a specialized monitoring system to detect cross-section size deviations (detecting parts that are too small or too large) during the run.
  • HMI-Driven Operation: Controlled via a modern 10" (optional 15") industrial display designed for ease of use by unskilled operators.
