The Thorwesten ASZ is a next-generation CNC Cutting Centre for PVC Profiles, designed to automate precise length and angle cutting for modern window fabrication. It combines dynamic clamping, CNC angle control, and a stable mechanical structure to ensure repeatable accuracy, reduced setup time, and optimized throughput.

General

The ASZ is engineered to provide uncompromising cutting precision for PVC profiles by pairing a rigid mechanical frame with a patented dynamic clamping system. By positioning the clamp as close as physically possible to the saw blade, the system minimizes vibration and material deflection, resulting in consistently clean and dimensionally accurate cuts—even on complex profile geometries.

The cutting angle is controlled entirely through the CNC system and is infinitely variable from 45° to 135° in its standard configuration. For fabrication environments requiring extreme mitre angles, Thorwesten offers an optional extended range of 22.5° to 157.5°, enabling nearly any contour to be produced without manual repositioning or auxiliary fixtures. This flexibility significantly reduces changeover times and boosts repeatability across varying production runs.

An industrial PC running a Windows-based interface, complete with a 21.5" touchscreen, provides intuitive operation, integrated optimization software, profile programming, and detailed process supervision. Combined with a modular system architecture, compact footprint, and rapid blade-change mechanism, the ASZ is built for high-volume manufacturers seeking reliability, automation, and exceptional cut quality.
