MECAL AS 600

General

The AS 600 is engineered for high-performance cutting of aluminum extrusions, offering both straight and miter cutting capability up to 20° in either direction. The hydro-pneumatic lifting system raises the large Ø600 mm blade smoothly and with controlled speed, while the saw automatically retracts below the table level as soon as the operator releases one of the two safety pushbuttons.

To maintain maximum stability, the system uses four pneumatic clamps (two vertical and two horizontal) to secure the profile firmly before and during the cut. A battery-powered LCD display supports precise intermediate miter angle adjustments, complementing preset Quick-Position angles such as 135°, 90°, and 45°. A movable back-fence increases capacity for straight cuts at 90°, while the pneumatically actuated safety hood keeps the cutting area fully enclosed.

Operator comfort and workflow efficiency are supported by front/back blade-access doors, a chip collection drawer, adjustable leveling feet, and integrated MQL blade lubrication. With its large cutting capacity and strong mechanical frame, the AS 600 is ideal for demanding fabrication shops producing architectural and industrial aluminum components.
