MECAL FR 703

General

The MECAL FR 703 delivers superior milling performance thanks to its advanced linear-bearing motion system, which provides smooth, effortless cutter head travel with virtually no maintenance. The hydro-pneumatic cutter feed ensures consistent feed pressure, resulting in clean and precision-milled surfaces.

A fast-change tool system allows operators to replace milling heads quickly, reducing downtime between different profile setups. The machine accommodates cutter diameters up to Ø200 mm, making it suitable for heavy-duty and deep milling operations.

The profile support fence pivots ±45°, with a precise 90° locating pin for quick alignment. Depth adjustments are fast and repeatable using the 4-stage rotating turret stop. Safety is further enhanced through integrated guarding and both horizontal and vertical pneumatic clamps, ensuring stable profile positioning during milling.

For facilities requiring low-noise operation, the FR 703 PLUS model offers a fully enclosed and sound-proof configuration, including an enclosed side tunnel for added safety and acoustic control.
