GENERAL
The Yilmaz “RYK 420” is a radial arm compound aluminum saw capable to perform both mitre and compound cuts. Due to its radial movement, the saw is ideal for applications requiring to cut large aluminum extrusions. The “RYK 420″ is capable to cut extrusions at 90° as large as 450mm (17¾”) and 320mm (12½”) when cutting at 45°.
Two vertical pneumatic cylinders hold the extrusion firm in place for the maximum precision of the cut. The “RYK 420” features a rotating cutting head capable to cut mitre angles ranging from 45° (right) to 60° (left) infinitely adjustable via mechanical stop
OPERATION
As a first operation the operator adjusts the cutting angle (pivotting and tilting the cutting head). Once adjusted the cutting head, the operator pulls it manually toward himself to perform the cut even if an hydraulic speed regulator will help him to keep a constant motion when cutting the extrusion.
SAFETIES
The “RYK 420” radial arm compound aluminum saw is equipped with a brake to stop the spinning of the blade after the saw is turned off.
