MECAL MC 309 NIKE 3+1 Axis CNC Profile Machining Center

Floor type vertical spindle 3+1 axis (X, Y, Z, A) CNC machining centre designed to work on extruded aluminum, light alloy and PVC

The machine is equipped with a 3.8 kW, 18000 rpm electro-spindle with ISO 30 tool holder system and an 5 tools capacity tool magazine.

CNC unit of the machine performs milling operations through linear and circular interpolation (compound movements) on 3 axes (X-Y-Z). 

Axis “A” is the machine bed rotation axis that allows the work-piece to be rotated +/- 90° around X-axis. This movement is done pneumatically at orthogonal points: 90°, 0°, -90°. Intermediate angles can also be adjusted by using a manual adjusted mechanical stop system (Optional)

The machine can be programmed using Mecal’s geometrical assisted CAM software as well as standard ISO codes. 

Note: This machine is equipped with DPM automatic clamp positioning system where a pneumatic finger mechanically assembled to the spindle descend, disengage the clamps and move them one by one to the positions previously set in the program.
