Aluminum Mitre Saw | YILMAZ MK 420

GENERAL

The Yilmaz “MK 420” is a manual aluminum mitre saw ideal for applications such as residential or commercial windows, storefronts, railings as well as industrial aluminum profile cutting. The saw can cut straight or mitre both on vinyl, aluminum extrusions or other non ferrous materials.

The manual aluminum mitre saw can be used for two purposes: lengthwise cutting (like a table saw) and cross cutting. This function allows to make notches as well. The “MK 420” has a 360° rotating platform and can be turned depending on how it is being used.

Two vertical manual cylinders hold the extrusion firm in place for the maximum precision of the cut. Pneumatic cylinders are also available in the “MK 420 PS” version.

OPERATION

To perform the cut, the operator must lift an handle and the blade will raise from the bottom of the saw. An adjustable mechanical stop limits the raise of the blade.

The back fence is adjustable to allow the most effective use of the saw blade when cutting wide and flat profiles

SAFETIES

A safety hood is mounted to provide full protection to the operator when performing cross cuts on extrusions, instead, when using the machine as a table saw, the hood is going to be replaced by a blade cover.
